Duovo

Text message opt-in

How clients of businesses using Duovo agree to receive service text messages, what they receive, and how to stop them. Program name: Duovo Service Updates.

1. Where clients opt in

Before any service begins, the business sends its client a private link to the Duovo client portal. The client reads their Client Business Agreement, types their name to sign, and sees two separate boxes. Both start unticked. The text-message box is optional: a client can sign the agreement and receive service without agreeing to texts.

This is exactly what the client sees (example business name and number):

I have read and agree to this Client Business Agreement.
Yes, text me service updates from Jakes Lawn Co (sent by Duovo), such as weather alerts and appointment changes. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Optional: not required to receive service. Texts go to (•••) •••-4567.
Sign agreement

After signing, the same page shows Text updates: on/off, so a client can turn texts on later or turn them off at any time. Each choice is saved with the date, time, the exact wording shown and the phone number.

Clients’ mobile numbers are given to the business by the client. Duovo does not buy, rent or import phone lists, and never texts anyone who has not ticked the box.

2. What messages clients receive

One-way, service notifications only, sent on behalf of the client’s service provider. No marketing or promotional messages. Examples:

Jakes Lawn Co: You're signed up for service texts from Jakes Lawn Co via Duovo, such as weather alerts and appointment changes. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to opt out.
